Hi! Media Art: 21 Creative Making Projects to enhance Your Daily Life through the Art and Technology is for anyone who wants to learn how to make with the media art, really anyone! It is also a great, workshop-based companion to an introductory Electronics, Arduino and Processing class.

Each project encourages you to translate fundamental electronics into creative art works. The second part(First step with LEDs) contains 6 examples to make LED accessories and object like: LED lights inside bunch of roses come on when it tilted. Also, you will learn how to make LED circuits using smart material: conductive thread and fabric with various switches: slide switch, tilt switch, reed switch, and toggle switch. The third part(Two steps with Arduino) has 7 examples explain to build interactive Arduino project like: Make the sunflower to bow when you stand in front of the work. This part uses many electronic components: transistor, photocell, infrared-led for human detected, piezo disk and heart rate sensor as an input sensor, and diverse actuators: DC motor, servo motor, electric bulb(220V AC), and speaker as an output part. In the fourth part(Three steps with Processing), you will create fun and inspiring projects using both Arduino and Processing such as: images on computer display are changed according the high and low sound. Clear, easy-to-follow examples in this part let you use code to create basic drawings, animation, and interactive graphics, and use the Arduino to control your Processing graphics.

Every chapter, also, provides “Work Note” and “Media Art Gallery” to take you all the way from idea to finished project. Even if you have no experience with Electronics, this book will get you set up with all the materials, software, and hardware you need.
